The 8bar MITTE Carbon V1 is our versatile 2in1 bike for road, all-road and gravel. Designed for riders who don’t want to be limited to just one type of terrain, it combines the efficiency of a fast road bike with the versatility of a modern gravel bike.

At the heart of the bike is the 8bar 2in1 system with TWIST dropouts in the fork. This allows you to quickly convert the MITTE Carbon from a road setup to a gravel setup — including adjusted geometry. Fast and efficient on asphalt, stable and comfortable on gravel.

The extremely lightweight carbon frame weighs just approx. 800 g and delivers a direct, sporty ride feel. The geometry is sporty, making the bike especially efficient, agile and fast. Ideal for riders who like an active and dynamic riding style.

Despite its sporty ride feel, the MITTE Carbon offers noticeable comfort on longer rides and rougher surfaces. Flattened seat stays and carefully shaped tubing help absorb vibrations, making the bike comfortable to ride on gravel, forest roads and rough pavement.

With our signature 8bar TWIST dropouts, you can literally change the characteristics from gravel to a road bike in no time.

Step A: Disassemble gravel wheels
Step B: Turn signature 8bar TWIST dropouts in the fork
Step C: Insert Road wheels
That's it!

The conversion is simple and can be done by yourself. It is not necessary to readjust the brake. The only requirement is that your road bike wheelset is equipped with 140mm and your Gravel wheelset with 160mm discs for the fork. The rear wheelset disc can stay the same.

Optimized for off-road performance, the frame features adjusted tube diameters and shapes for the perfect balance of lightness, comfort, and stiffness. Weighing just 800 g, it provides excellent rider comfort while ensuring maximum power transfer – on asphalt or gravel.

Functional frame design

The top tube, seat stays, and seat tube together form the upper damping zone of the frame. The flat design of these sections effectively absorbs vibrations and shocks from the ground, providing significantly improved riding comfort.

Tires up to 45mm wide at 28" and 50mm at 27.5" are no problem in the Gravel setup. The lowered seat stays not only look good, but also increase the comfort.
