The 8bar GRUNEWÄLDCHEN is THE gravel bike for kids and smaller riders from 1.30 m tall. It shares the same DNA as its bigger brother, the 8bar GRUNEWALD, but has been consistently adapted to smaller body sizes.
With 27.5” wheels, shorter cranks and adjusted geometry, it is not simply an XXS version of a regular gravel bike. It is a fully capable gravel bike with properly scaled components.
With its adapted geometry, tube shapes and components, we developed a bike that feels direct and agile while remaining stable and comfortable.
The wide-range 1×11 drivetrain gives you an easy gear for steep climbs and a fast gear for the next sprint.
The GRUNEWÄLDCHEN is only available as a complete bike with a carefully selected setup.

The GRUNEWÄLDCHEN Aluminium V1 is built around a 27.5" wheel platform with aluminium construction that efficiently transfers power to the road, combining a direct, responsive ride feel with enough tire clearance for added comfort and control on fast asphalt and light gravel without compromising speed or handling.

The aluminium frame is built for a direct and efficient ride feel, responding quickly under power while remaining comfortable.
Multiple mounting points for bottles, tools, and bags make the GRUNEWÄLDCHEN practical for everyday riding but also longer adventures.
POWER & CONTROL
The reliable hydraulic disc brakes provide maximum control and confident handling. Shorter crank arms allow for a smoother pedal stroke, while a wide-range 11–50T cassette offers the gearing needed for both steep climbs and fast sections.

8bar logos are embossed into the head tube and dropouts. Subtle, durable, and premium, the refined 3D effect underscores the minimalist character of the GRUNEWALD Aluminium V1.
CLEAN DESIGN & AERODYNAMICS
