We ship our products with DHL, DPD or UPS. You will receive a shipping confirmation e-mail at the same day that we ship your order.
Complete Bikes are shipped within Europe with Cargoboard shipping company in a big, special bicycle carton. Worldwide shipping will be in two separate packages.

Every order has a transport insurance. This covers all damage and loss of the goods.

Please note that for delivery outside the EU duties and taxes will be charged to you as the buyer.

Average lead times

Please keep in mind that we are a small bicycle manufacturer, and each bike is custom-made from scratch, which means that the delivery times provided are only estimates. Occasionally, there may be delays due to supply shortages.


Bicycle parts and apparel: 2 – 7 days
Bicycle frames: 1 – 2 weeks (custom color: additional 6 weeks)
Hand-built wheels: 8 – 10 weeks
Complete bicycles: 10 – 12 weeks

If you have a preferred delivery date, please clarify this before placing your order so we can check if it is possible.

Shipping durations


Germany: 1 – 4 days
Europe: 3 – 14 days
Worldwide: 1 – 5 weeks

If your order is within the specified timeframe, we kindly ask for your patience. Your order is being processed, and we are doing our best to deliver it to you as soon as possible.

However, if your order exceeds the established deadlines or if you need to know the current status for any important reason, please send an email to 8bar@8bar-bikes.com. We are at your disposal to assist you.

Goods receipt

When you receive the package please check that it isn’t damaged from the outside. If it is damaged, refuse to accept it.

All bikes are wrapped and packed carefully to ensure their safety.

When you open your new bike please check everything is in good condition. If you find any damages, let us know immediately.

You can resign from your contract (by letter or e-mail) or by returning the products within 14 days after you received the goods. This is only possible if the products have not been used yet. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
