3. ACCOMPLISHMENT OF A CONTRACT
The presentation of our products in our online shop is not a binding offer.
When exactly is a contract between you and us accomplishes, depends on the payment method:
After we received your order, we will send you a separate e-mail, in which we accept your order. When you receive this E-Mail the contract is accomplished. In this email we will inform you with our bank details. Please transfer the total amount to this account.
PAYPAL X CREDIT CARD:
After you complete your order, you will be forwarded to the Paypal website. Here you can choose between paying directly through Paypal or by credit card. On the next page you need to enter either your Paypal login details or your credit card information. The contract is accomplished after we received your money on our account.
If there is an product permanently not in stock, we reserve the right not to accept your offer or withdraw from the contract
4. RESERVATION OF SERVICE
.If, in exceptional cases, a product ordered by you is permanently no longer available, we reserve the right not to accept your offer or to withdraw from the contract.

Where can I buy 8bar bikes products?
How do I find the right bike for me?
- If you need to find the correct size bike, you can consult our comprehensive size guide on each bike product page. If you need further advice, please feel free to contact us via +49 30 20 95 45 17, or email email@example.com.
- We have most sizes and models available for viewing and testing in our Berlin showroom. To organise a test ride and to check which bikes we have built up, please contact us via +49 30 20 95 45 18, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can I use my own components for a built?
- Although we offer a variety of components, we can understand if you want to install your own components.
- Therefore, you can simply leave out the components you do not need.
- We can install your components on your bike. For this we charge you an assembly surcharge. For details please contact us via +49 30 20 95 45 17, or email email@example.com.
I live outside the EU, can I order without German VAT?
- If you live in a country outside of the European Union, you can order without paying Germany taxes. Just select the country you are ordering from and taxes will be deducted at checkout.
- We cannot provide any information regarding import duties in your country, you are responsible for any duties and tax that may be charged.
How do I place an order?
On our website www.8bar-bikes.com you can choose from a range of selected products. By pressing the “ADD TO CART” button you place your product into a virtual shopping cart. You can check your shopping cart at any time by clicking on the “CART” button.
You reach your shopping cart by clicking the “CART” button. You can change the quantity of your product or delete it from your shopping cart at any time. Now you can choose your shipping method and calculate the shipping costs.
If you are satisfied with your settings, click on “PROCEED TO CHECKOUT”.
Please fill in your billing and shipping address so that we know where to ship your products. Further down you can choose between bank transfer, Pay Pal, credit card or pick up at the showroom.
If you are satisfied with your settings, click on “PLACE ORDER”.
After you placed your order you will receive an automated e-mail that lists your personal order again.
SPECIAL NOTE FOR COMPLETE BIKE ORDERS
All bikes are directly assembled by our experienced staff at 8bar. After you’ve received your bike, you normally just need to get your handlebars straight, install the wheels and assemble the pedals. The necessary equipment will be send along with your order. However, please check all screws and fittings before your first ride

Can I pick up my products personally?
You can pick up your products at our showroom in Berlin. You find the address and opening times here.
We will let you know when your products are ready for pick up. If you need them urgently, please contact us via +49 30 20 95 45 18 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do you ship my complete bike?
All bikes are directly assembled by our experienced staff at 8bar. After you’ve received your bike, you just need to get your handlebars straight, install the front wheel and the pedals. The necessary equipment will be send along with your order. However, please check all screws and fittings before your first ride.
My packet arrived damaged, what do I do?
When you receive the package please check that it isn’t damaged from the outside. If it is damaged, refuse to accept it.
If the delivery person has already left or the package was delivered to a neighbour, please take photographs of the packet and the outside damage. Open the contents carefully and be sure to take photographs of the inside of the packet and potential damage before removing the contents.

How long does it take until I get my products?

8bar frames have a five year manufacturer warranty against manufacturer’s defects in addition to the legally required two-year warranty.
IT COVERS MANUFACTURING DEFECTS SUCH AS
- Breakage and
- Deformation of the frame
GENERAL CONDITIONS OF THE 8BAR BIKES WARRANTY
The seller accepts the present regulations, all legally permissible deviation in accordance with the national law of the statutory warranty disclaimers and liability limitation in the claim.
The buyer takes note of this and accepts these terms.
The warranty is limited to the first owner of the bike to complete and is not transferable.
Defect parts will be replaced or repaired by using identical or similar parts – depending on the level of technological development.
The shipping costs for returns have to be paid by the buyer.
THE WARRANTY CAN BE CLAIMED IF
- The damage is not from a lack of care or improper use
- The damage is not caused by a crash
- the bike has been serviced in an appropriate manner
THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
- maintenance (lubrication, adjustment) or wearing parts (tires, brake pads, chain, freewheel, sprockets, cables, seals, hydraulic oil, bearings, etc.)
- derailleur hangers
- paint defects
- Refund and Returns
You can resign from your contract (by letter or e-mail) or by returning the products within 14 days after you received the goods. If 14 days have passed since you received the goods, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
This right does not apply to goods that we have made based on your specifications and for individual custom bikes.
Our custom bikes are built specifically to your specifications. Once you have placed your order and we have received the money it is no longer possible to cancel the order, because some parts are ordered specifically for you. This also applies in case of delayed delivery times.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
The buyer has to cover the shipping costs.

In case of an effective withdrawal, the mutually received benefits are to be returned.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days.
