#8bar GRAVELO 100

– Explore local-

Shady green woods, crystal-clear lakes, narrow riverbanks, sandy forest paths and the finest gravel roads – in this fantastic scenery you could be cycling soon. The 8bar GRAVELO 100 offers you many possibilities. Also in your region!

The Gravel series, which will take place in September 2020, challenges us to get on our bikes and ride out into nature off the beaten track.

The principle is simple: We want you to get out of your everyday life and have a good time on the bike. Ride 100km on mainly unpaved roads within 24h. Where you will be riding is entirely up to you. The only condition: A maximum of 30 km should be ridden on paved roads. Why? Because you will get to know your surroundings from a completely new perspective and you can look for entirely new routes.

We have already created a few routes for you, which you are welcome to follow. Just check out the 8bar komoot Collection for more details! Komoot is our official partner for route planning and navigation! When you register for the 8bar Gravelo 100 you will therefore receive a region package from komoot! This will make it so much easier to plan your own ride! You have your own route that you want to recommend to others and that meets the criteria just mentioned? All right, just send it to us by linking the 8bar profile after you uploaded the complete route on komoot! We will then check it and add it to the 8bar GRAVELO 100 – Collection if applicable.

The 8bar Gravelo is not a race! It is much more a ride that you should be riding at your own pace. Ride in a team or alone, sleep outside or do it in one go! You decide how you want to pedal!

Thanks to the support of 8bar bikes, DT Swiss, Schwalbe, wahoo and komoot there are even some rewards to win!

Where?

All over Germany!

Outside Germany you can only register for Ticket A and ride the #8barGravelo100. For the sake of simplicity, however, this year we are only including routes within Germany in our collection.

Check these already existing routes in our 8bar komoot Collection:
