8bar GRAVELO100 2023
GRAVELO100 is a challenge that you set for yourself and we only help you with motivation!
The gravel event takes place in November 2023 and challenges us to get on our bikes and ride out more than 100km into nature and off the beaten track.
This year you can ride it alone, as pair or on social ride together with our Partners. And last but not least there will be a GRAVELO100 RANKING of the longest ride as SOLO and PAIR!
SOLO
Ride a 100km+ Gravel route in one calendar day by your own, record it on Komoot and tag 8bar Bikes as participant!
PAIR
Ride a 100km+ Gravel route in one calendar day with your ride buddy, record it on Komoot and tag 8bar Bikes as participant!
SOCIAL
Enjoy a social ride hosted by our Partners all over the world!
GRAVELO Ranking (SOLO and PAIR)
This year for the first time there will be a ranking according to the length of the rides.
RULES:
- Maximum 10 moving hours (If your moving time is longer, we will substract 1km for every exceeding minute).
- It is allowed to stop while riding. Break times are not taken into account in the result.
- Completed in one calendar day between November 1 and November 30, 2023 (which means you can start at 00:01 or later and finish before 23:59).
- You are not allowed to stop the ride and continue at another position.
- Your ride is allowed to contain a maximum of 30% asphalt (we will evaluate this via Komoot. Here, only “asphalt” is taken into account under “trail conditions” ).
- Multiple laps may not be completed on one lap.
- Elevation gain can be maximum 100m less than the elevation loss (e.g. +1.250m / -1.350m).

How to participate
- Register via our website for SOLO Ride.
- Do a gravel ride with a minimum of 100km and maximum 30% asphalt included.

- Fill out the finisher form (will be sent after sucessful registration on SOLO Pro) so we can assign your ride.

GRAVELO100 SOCIAL RIDES 2023 will be hosted by local bike shops and cycling clubs around the world. All rides started at 9:00.

How to participate
- Register via our website for any SOCIAL Ride which you like.
- You will get detailed information about the local ride after your registration.
- Do a gravel ride with group hosted by local bike shops and cycling clubs around the world.
- All Social Ride will be orginized by our Partners and 8bar is not responsible for the route and organisation of the Ride.
- Attention! Registration for the Social Ride is obligatory.
- All Rides start at 9:00.

8bar GRAVELO100 x Komoot Collection
You can participate in the 8bar GRAVELO100 from anywhere, either alone or with friends. You have the flexibility to start your ride right from your doorstep or join one of our group rides. To inspire your journey, we’ve also provided some routes for you to explore together with Komoot.
